Are scholarships available?
Yes! Please check our scholarship information.
Is PSGW a camp for all ages?
Puget Sound Guitar Workshop is a camp for adults of all ages, but please consult with us prior to registering adults under the age of 18.
Where is the camp?
Camp is held in a beautiful wooded setting near Bremerton, Washington. It is easily accessed from the Seattle area, and the Seatac airport. Once you are registered we will send you directions and more information.
Am I responsible for lodging and meals?
No. Your lodging and meals are included in your payment for camp.
What’s the food like?
The kitchen staff prepares three nutritious, plentiful meals every day, served buffet style. Fruit, coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. You will be sent a dietary form to fill out before coming to camp so that we can accommodate food allergies. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other dietary requests are taken into consideration.
What is the lodging like?
You can share a cabin with others (bathroom en suite), or you can stay in your tent (with easy access to nearby bathrooms and showers). We arrange housing before you arrive at camp.
Can I bring electric instruments (or a drumset or bagpipes or…?)
Not really. This is a camp for acoustic music, however we do hold a dance, and on dance night the electric guitars come out of hiding. Sound carries a great distance at camp, so an acoustic footprint is appreciated.
What is a typical day like?
There are three class periods each day. In the afternoons there are one-time workshops, and free time for jamming, swimming, walking, napping, etc. In the evenings there are concerts, a dance, and lots of time for jamming. More detailed information here.
How do I sign up for the classes I want?
You sign up simply by going to the class you want. Teachers introduce their classes on the first day of camp. You decide which classes you’d like to take, and go!
Can I bring my dog?
No. The site does not allow pets of any kind. Please leave your pets home or check out one of the kennels near by. Contact us about your service animal.
Suppose I have questions that aren’t answered here?
Great! Send an email to: info@pugetsoundguitarworkshop.org and include a phone number and the best time to reach you…we’ll be in touch!
