Mandolin, Camp Instrumentalist
Tom is a long-time member of the Northwest acoustic music scene. He teaches, performs and records in several styles, including bluegrass, jazz and Brazilian choro. His teaching credits include multiple appearances at NW music camps (PSGW, British Columbia Bluegrass Workshop and the Washington State Old Time Fiddlers Association), as well as accredited college-level music and performance classes. He founded the current version of the Seattle Mandolin Orchestra and was the author of Mandolin Magazine's bluegrass column. He currently performs with Seattle's Downtown Mountain Boys.
