Stacy Phillips was a dobro and violin player, and the author of thirty books and DVDs on various aspects of these instruments. He performed in bluegrass, jazz, contra dance, salsa and musically uncategorizable bands. Stacy was a featured performer on the award-winning Great Dobro Sessions album kept the statuettes in his freezer to prove it.
