Writer and songsinger Olivia Brownlee comes from a musical family and community hailing predominantly from the West Coast with stints in Boston and abroad. She received her BA in Theatre Arts from Eastern WA University in the mid-aughts, and an MA in Theatre for Social Change from Emerson College in 2010. Noticing that music consumers were streaming singles, in October 2014 she started recording an original single in a different studio every month and releasing them on Patreon. Now based in Spokane, WA, Olivia revels in such projects as the Zonky Jazz Band, the Rockabilly Space Force, and Josephine the Volcano.
