Edson Oliveira is a Brazilian singer and guitarist who has been playing Brazilian music for over 30 years. Edson lives in Oregon, where he performs regularly, both as a soloist and leader of his own band Sun Bossa. In 2008, Edson released his CD "Edson Oliveira Plays Antonio Carlos Jobim." Edson has taught at the Puget Sound Guitar Workshop for several years, as well as at Lane Community College, in Eugene. As a teacher, Edson is inspiring, clear, and patient, praised by students for his dedication, warmth, and gentle "task master" teaching.
